My instincts were right, I should have sailed the thunderstorms last night and slept in until noon. It was looking like an 8 mile day until afternoon sometime, I milked it as far as I could until it died at 6:30 again. The wind is predicted to be on the nose in the morning and the currents are definitely noticeable here. Two miles offshore and 4 feet of water. The current is pushing me offshore at about 1 knot now.
