Another challenging day of sailing, a lot of the same annoying shifty winds which I’m getting a mental handle on slowly. One set of locks and two pontoon bridges, one of which I had to short tack through, the three drivers waiting probably couldn’t figure out why I was going back and forth. I had a few miles of tacking today, luckily the traffic wasn’t bad.

I’m trying to cut back my daily miles, but the distances between possible stops is not helping.

My friend Webb sent an email asking me for a photo with something for perspective to size up my boat. I told him that at this anchorage the Paradox is about 2.5 alligators, but I’m not going to try for that photo.
